- Evaluated 3 undeveloped oil fields and 2 exploration areas in both Ghadames and Sirte Basin for Partex Portuguese Oil Company and Falcone English Exploration Company, 2008.
- Evaluated 12 small to medium oil/gas fields in Ghadames Basin for a consortium of oil companies led by Medex Oil Company, 2006.
- Evaluated around 30 small to medium oil/gas fields in all Libyan sedimentary basins for a consortium of oil companies led by Swiss Global Oil Company.
- Evaluated 3 small to medium oil/gas fields and exploration areas in Ghadames Basin for a consortium of oil companies led by Swiss Global Oil Company.
- Evaluated 2 exploration and development areas in Algeria (226 & 242) in Illizi Basin starting from 2006 up to 2009.
Additional Evaluations and Operations
- Evaluation of more than 10 undeveloped oil fields in Ghadames Basin for Medex North Africa Tunisian Branch Project, 2007.
- Participated in the evaluation of more than 137 exploration areas in 5 sedimentary basins in Libya for the NOC of Libya, 2000-2002.
- Worked as the Deputy Chairman and Chairman of TPOC, overseeing operations and HSE, resulting in the drilling of more than 11 exploration and appraisal wells, discovering 7 oil fields before the company's withdrawal from Libya in 2013 due to security reasons.
- Managed the exploration for Medex Algeria & Paris offices, evaluating and identifying leads and drillable prospects.
- Followed technical operations of more than 28 exploration/appraisal wells drilled in southern Illizi Basin, Algeria.
Expertise and Training
- Al Watad is familiar with Ghadames, Murzuq, Illizi, Sirte, Sabrata, Cyrnaica, and Cabinda sedimentary basins of both Paleozoic and Mesozoic strata.
- Participating in the evaluation of more than 143 exploration open blocks in Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Angola.
- Energy Frame's technical team tackles development projects, EOR, exploration targets, and implements effective reservoir production plans and management strategies.
- Our team has trained numerous geoscience personnel in Algeria, Libya, and Tunisia and will continue to do so as part of our general strategy.
